The Public Works Department provides a variety of services to Town government and the residents of Wrightsville Beach.

The department is divided into 7 divisions:

The respective divisions provide services based on an annual population of 2800 residents, and a peak population of 20-40,000 seasonal residents and visitors. The Town's infrastructure is sized based on seasonal peak populations.

Service / Work Order Requests and Concerns

Need to request Public Works services such as water, sewer, street, or sidewalk issues.  Want to report a broken tree limb on the Loop or debris blocking a public beach access.  These and other Public Works concerns may be reported through the Public Works Services Request / Work Order online submission form.  Once received, someone from our Public Works Department will contact you during regular business hours.  Note: Electronics and hazardous waste items are not picked up or recycled by the Town.
