There is a storm drain in street near my home. It has been cleared of debris so why is water backing up into my yard?
Living in a coastal community that is almost at or below sea level sometimes we get rain events during a high tide. This can cause a delay in the water draining because it has to equalize with the level of banks channel. At the elevation we are at, this is a situation that can't be avoided.
