1. Do I have to be a Wrightsville Beach resident or a member to participate in Parks & Recreation programs?

No membership is required and you don’t have to be a Wrightsville Beach resident or property owner to participate in Parks and Recreation programs and activities.  Anyone may participate!

2. Do I need a permit to have a wedding on the beach?

Yes, weddings on the beach require a special event permit. Complete and submit the special event permit application and mail it into the Park Office along with the appropriate fee.  Our Special Event Permit page will have a link to download the application.  Feel free to call (910-256-7925) or email (parksandrecreation@towb.org) the Park Office if you have any questions. 

3. How do I register for a class/program?

Complete a registration form / waiver and return it to the park office along with the appropriate fee for the class.  We accept cash, check, or credit card (additional $4 bank fee).

4. What are the Park Office hours?

8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
