Parking must be paid for each vehicle with the following exception:
If a valid handicap placard or license plate is displayed in/on a vehicle parked in a marked handicap space, no payment is required. A handicap placard or plate does not enable free parking elsewhere.
The parking program has the authority to use wheel locks (boots) on illegally parked vehicles for which there are 3 or more outstanding, unpaid, and overdue parking tickets. The operator of such a vehicle is known as a scofflaw.
The Wrightsville Beach Parking Program is a public/private partnership between the Town of Wrightsville Beach and Pivot Parking. Pivot Parking manages the day-to-day operations, but the Town sets all fees, penalties, hours of operation, location of meters, and other policy issues.
Parking fine amounts vary depending on the violation. Most meter violations are $50. If not paid, within 3 days, the penalty is $60; if not paid within 10 days, the penalty is $70.

Pay or appeal the citation within 3 days of the issuance.
Yes. As a registered owner, you are liable for any citations regardless of whether or not you were using the vehicle at the time the citations were issued.
