The Town of Wrightsville Beach is currently in the design phase of a streetscape project for East and West Salisbury Street that includes facility improvements to the East Salisbury Ocean Access.

This project includes wider sidewalks that will not only allow for safer pedestrian movement to the beach strand, but also allows connectivity to the Greensboro Street Park and the Town's infamous Loop. The Town intends to apply for a Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant to help fund the elements of this project that provide for and support adjacent recreational facilities.
