Financial Reports

The Town of Wrightsville Beach is providing the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) in order to provide the public with the essential financial information necessary to assess the condition of the finances of the Town. This report consists of management’s representations concerning the finances of the Town of Wrightsville Beach. Consequently, management assumes full responsibility for the completeness and reliability of all information presented in this report. To provide a reasonable basis for making these representations, management of the Town has established a comprehensive internal control framework that is designed both to protect the government’s assets from loss, theft, or misuse and to compile sufficient reliable information for the preparation of the Town’s financial statements in conformity with GAAP.  As management, we assert that, to the best of our knowledge and belief, this financial report is complete and reliable in all material respects.   

In accordance with NC Senate Bill 372, no later than October 1 of 2023, 2024, and 2025, every local government shall publish an annual financial report on how it used fees from the prior fiscal year for the support, administration, and implementation of its building code enforcement program as required by G.S. 160D-402(d). Access these annual reports as they become available.
