The Town of Wrightsville Beach currently has the following items up for bid: Sewer Line Cleaning for 2010 The Town of Wrightsville Beach is seeking proposals and estimates for cleaning and color video inspection/recording of approximately 11,000 feet of sewer line. The diameter varies from 6” to 8” with the majority of the pipe in the 8” range. The typical material is clay pipe. The bids/proposals pricing should be per foot of sewer line and should show the price per foot to clean and the price per foot to video. Proposals should be provided no later than 12/31/2009 at 300pm. The work should be completed prior to 2/15/2010.
The contractor must provide copies of Workmen’s Compensation Insurance and Liability Insurance ($1,000,000) with the Town named as an additional insured.
Proposals/bids will be evaluated on the basis of combined clean and video pricing. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each tank has an existing section of double wall piping running underground from the point where the 2” lines enter the ground to the point at which they connect to the Model 52A valve located below each dispenser. Contractors must be licensed in/by the State of North Carolina for the type of work specified; bonded and insured. Work will include electrical.
